The Ultimate Tour
When approached by the world's most successful pop group of the 1990s, the opportunity to work with Take That on their 'Welcome Back' tour in 2006 was too good to pass by.
The concept was designed by renowned live entertainment set designer Bill Laslett, who then entrusted Baconinflate to realise the visually-striking archway across the stage.
What we delivered:
The Take That arch soared 26m high, covering a span of 72 metres, the scale of which had never been achieved before with an inflatable span. It took 3 cranes to elevate it into position, was powered by 2 high-spec fans and encompassed over 300 metres of fabric.
Despite this, the whole arch could be lifted by 2 people, and was transported inside a flight case measuring only 1.5m.
