Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014

Client Brief:

Award Winning ‘In The Zone’ activated at Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014 c/o At Bristol and Welcome Trust 23rd July to 3rd Aug 2014.

After the huge success of London 2012 and after picking up ‘Creative Event of the Year 2013’ at the Event Awards the touring exhibition ‘In The Zone’ was installed in the ground of the Glasgow Science Centre by Baconinflate Operations Team and AT Bristol.

The installation was part of the live BBC at the Quay series for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014.

What we delivered:

The touring exhibition housed inside the fully branded high pressure 11m EventStation HP inflatable dome enabled children to understand how their own brilliant bodies work and which sports best suit their skills and natural abilities.

A series of interactive activities recorded reaction times, pulse rates, muscle types, lung volume and endurance versus speed. This exhilarating experience offered another great opportunity for people of all ages to learn about the science of our incredible human body, in relation to sport and movement.
